{"id":1553,"date":"2015-06-15T11:37:51","date_gmt":"2015-06-15T18:37:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/lightroomjournal\/?p=1553"},"modified":"2020-04-23T13:38:00","modified_gmt":"2020-04-23T20:38:00","slug":"june-updates-to-cc-photography","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lrj.mattalbright.com\/index.php\/2015\/06\/15\/june-updates-to-cc-photography\/","title":{"rendered":"June updates to CC Photography"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Lightroom CC 2015.1 and Lightroom\u00a06.1 are\u00a0now available on Adobe.com.\u00a0 The goal of this release is to provide additional camera raw support, lens profile support and address bugs that were introduced in previous releases of Lightroom. \u00a0Lightroom on\u00a0iOS v1.5 is also now available.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Bug fixes, Tethered capture, new camera and lens support updates are available in both Lightroom 6 and Lightroom CC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lightroom CC on the desktop<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dehaze*\n<ul>\n<li>Many outdoor scenes have some amount of haze due to atmospheric conditions. Dehaze is a new feature for removing\/adding haze and fog from pictures.<\/li>\n<li>The user can control how much haze to remove by adjusting a new slider in the Effects panel in the Dehaze section. This feature can also be used in the other direction to increase the amount of haze.<\/li>\n<li>Recommended Workflow &#8211; Adjust the white balance of the image before applying the Dehaze control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Local White and Black Adjustment Sliders*\n<ul>\n<li>Available with all 3 local adjustment tools: \u00a0Gradient Filter, Radial Filter and Local adjustment brush<\/li>\n<li>Useful for fine-tuning tonality near the brightest and darkest parts of the picture. For instance, they can be used to increase the contrast of highlights.<\/li>\n<li>Recommended Workflow &#8211; Make your global adjustments first and then use the local adjustments to fine tune. \u00a0Use the clip warning indicator to help avoid clipping highlights and shadows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>* Please note that these features are not\u00a0available in the standalone version
