{"id":617,"date":"2012-10-02T21:31:39","date_gmt":"2012-10-03T04:31:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/lightroomjournal\/?p=617"},"modified":"2020-04-23T13:39:26","modified_gmt":"2020-04-23T20:39:26","slug":"lightroom-4-2-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lrj.mattalbright.com\/index.php\/2012\/10\/02\/lightroom-4-2-now-available\/","title":{"rendered":"Lightroom 4.2 Now Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lightroom 4.2 is now available as a final release on <a href=\"http:\/\/Adobe.com\/\">Adobe.com<\/a> and through the update mechanism in Lightroom 4.\u00a0 The goal of this release is to provide additional camera raw support, lens profile support and address bugs that were introduced in previous releases of Lightroom.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Bugs Corrected in Lightroom 4.2:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The following bugs that were part the Lightroom 4 releases have been corrected. The team appreciates the very detailed feedback the community has provided on Lightroom 4 and we\u2019re excited to correct a number of issues experienced by our customers. These issues have been FIXED:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stacked photos were hidden in both the Grid view and Filmstrip. This occurred when photos\u00a0get unstacked as a result of enabling auto-stacking.<\/li>\n<li>Folder stacks with virtual copies were unstacked when moving to another folder.<\/li>\n<li>When scrolling through the filmstrip (at somewhat fast rate), occasionally a &#8220;gray&#8221; image was\u00a0displayed for an instant and then replaced by the correct image preview.<\/li>\n<li>The Navigator Panel in Map did not pan correctly.<\/li>\n<li>Parents and synonyms of &#8220;do not export&#8221; keywords also did not export.<\/li>\n<li>Occasionally were unable to publish videos to Facebook<\/li>\n<li>Audio did not play in video files after creating a slideshow that contains music (Win 7 only)<\/li>\n<li>Image select arrow on keyword list didn\u2019t display when keyword list contained a large number\u00a0of keywords<\/li>\n<li>Unable to edit Lightroom photos as jpegs in Photoshop Elements<\/li>\n<li>Carriage Return in either the Title or Caption field invalidated a Flickr upload.<\/li>\n<li>Tether capture bar disappeared after deleting photo (Win only).<\/li>\n<li>Back Cover of Book layout had Horizontal text on spine rather than Vertical<\/li>\n<li>Sharpening was not applied to books that were exported as JPEG files<\/li>\n<li>Double-byte characters were not exported to Books saved as PDF files<\/li>\n<li>Unable to type accented character in book module in LR4<\/li>\n<li>Luminance Noise slider was unresponsive when Clarity is greater than 0.<\/li>\n<li>Develop keyboard shortcuts (+ and &#8211;
